"My mom made this on special occasions and she finally gave me the recipe. I made this for Cinco de Mayo last year and even my Mexican friends loved it! It's not the most authentic recipe in the world but gosh is it good!"

Ingredients :

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans prepared chili, divided
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans beef tamales, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 8 ounces diced onion
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
  • 1 (6 ounce) container guacamole (optional)
  • sour cream (optional)

Instructions :

Prep : 10M Cook : 8M Ready in : 35M
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread 1 can chili into the bottom of a baking dish and top with 1 can beef tamales; repeat layering. Top mixture with cheese and diced onion. Spread salsa over the cheese layer.
  • Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, about 25 minutes. Top with guacamole and sour cream to serve.
